Artwork and Graphics
All of our products are available with no artwork, graphics included, or with
custom artwork (die) imprinting. If you want to order any of our products with your
business logo or custom artwork imprinted on the products it must be in vector format.
With the exception of orders with a straight line text (personalized impriting), all orders must have
vector artwork.
We offer customized debossing. Debossing, sometimes referred to as branding, is a technique with which a design is stamped down into the leather surface.
Because debossing does not require opening the lining of a jacket, this method is
highly recommended for our leather accessories.
What is Vector Artwork?
Vector artwork is black-and-white (line) artwork, preferably sent in electronically to sales@customplanners.com.
Adobe Illustrator is preferred, solid black-and-white, in an .eps, .tif, or .AI format.
We cannot accept files downloaded from the internet unless they are specifically designed for reproduction purposes. Images cannot be accepted in Grayscale, RGB, CMYK, or indexed color modes, as they create rough pixellated edges when printed.
Do you Accept .JPG or .GIF Images?
We cannot accept files in .jpg or .gif format as they are designed for viewing purposes only and automatically convert the file into grayscale or color mode.
What is the Best Format in Which to Submit My Artwork?
The preferred format is vector-formatted files.
Adobe Illustrator is preferred, solid black-and-white .eps, .tif, or .AI format.
If you are going to send Photoshop files or scanned images, they must be at least 300 dpi, scanned as solid black-and-white bitmap mode, and saved in .tif or .psd format.
Electronic transfer is preferred; E-mails cannot exceed 3 MB in size.
Mailed black-and-white on paper is acceptable. CDs or Zips are also acceptable.
